Nestled in the heart of historic Murray Hill in Manhattan, Villa Berulia Ristorante has served generations of diners for over thirty years. With the support of our beloved locals, out of town guests and tourists alike, we continue to showcase exceptional Dalmatian and Northern Italian cuisine. Our specials differ every day as our chefs continue to research ancient recipes and fuse them with modern techniques and their own flair. What are the secrets of longevity? The answer is simple: great food and great service. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves with caring for each and every diner. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home. “Since 1981, the care that owners Johnny and Maria Ivanac put into the restaurant invokes an old world charm and grace that is both timeless and inspiring. This resonates throughout the entire staff.” The menu features many homemade pastas, wild game dishes, classics and Croatian delicacies, such as seafood Buzara (traditional Dalmatian stew with sea bass, shrimp and clams) and Pasticada (traditional meat with gnocchi). Seasonal items are also available throughout the year, such as soft shell crabs and lager-infused roast pork. We have gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. Our extensive wine list features an array of Italian and Croatian wines. Striving to provide an elegant Mediterranean retreat in the middle of bustling New York City, three blocks from the Empire State Building, all are welcome to relax a little and enjoy.
