Pizza Pie La Cantina Italiana

Founded 10 years ago by the Garguillo Family in the Paulus hook area with a robust real brick-oven and rustic looking decor in a small side street – a hidden hole that serves as a takeout casual dining and crazy delivery business. Cute little seats and outdoor seating are geared towards accomodating the neighborhood’s corporate clients and new residents in this ever growing opportunity. Until a year and a half ago, two brothers Hanish & Peter who have worked in a pizzeria while going to school always dreamed of having their own pizza shop where they could recreate old childhood memories of playing with pizza dough. They have a true passion for feeding people and making them happy with their unique creations. Shortly after, this dream came true – but ultimately, their goal has always been to use the freshest ingredients and products available in the market and to provide customers the true Brooklyn brick-oven experience with New York Style Pizza (combined with some old school Chicago Square Sicilian flare). Grandma’s Favorite recipes include our Meat Lasagna and our homemade entrées that are to rave for. Lastly, we believe that it’s the Love we put in our food (like our grandma) that make it so special. We hope to see you soon! Ciao!
